Tactical Orange™ Essential Ingredients

Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid):
aids in many functions of the body, including the absorption of iron. Large doses of Vitamin C do not usually cause toxicity because, as a water-soluble vitamin, it is simply excreted in the urine. People who tend to form kidney stones may find their condition aggravated by vitamin C supplementation or mega dosing

Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol):
prevents saturated fatty acids and vitamin A from breaking down and combining with other substances that may become harmful to the body. Not surprisingly, fats and oils containing vitamin E are less susceptible to rancidity than those devoid of vitamin E. Vitamin E also has the ability to unite with oxygen and prevent it from being converted into toxic peroxides. This leaves the red blood cells more fully supplied with the pure oxygen that the blood carries to the heart and other organs.

Vitamin B-1 (thiamine):
acts as a coenzyme necessary for the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose, which is burned in the body for energy. It is essential for the functioning of the nervous system. A deficiency can cause beriberi, a disease marked by weakness, paralysis and edema.

Vitamin B-2 (riboflavin)
acts as a coenzyme that activates the breakdown and utilization of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It is essential for cellular oxidation. A deficiency can cause tissue inflammation and an over-sensitivity to bright light.

Vitamin B-3 (niacinamide):
is made up of niacin (nicotinic acid) and its amide, niacinamide, and can be found in many foods, including yeast, meat, fish, milk, eggs, green vegetables, and cereal grains. Vitamin B3 is required for cell respiration, helps in the release of energy and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, proper circulation and healthy skin, functioning of the nervous system, and normal secretion of bile and stomach fluids.

Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine):
plays a role as a coenzyme in the breakdown and utilization of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It facilitates the release of glycogen for energy from the liver and muscles. It also participates in the utilization of energy in brain and nervous tissue and is essential for the regulation of the central nervous system.

Folic acid:
functions along with vitamins B-12 and C in the utilization of proteins. It has an essential role in the formation of heme, the iron containing protein in hemoglobin necessary for the formation of red blood cells. Some folic acid is produced by the intestinal bacteria. Folic acid is essential during pregnancy to prevent neural tubular defects in the developing fetus.

Vitamin B-12 (Methylocobalamin):
is the only vitamin containing cobalt, a trace mineral. It is essential for the normal functioning of all body cells, especially those of the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract and nervous system. It is also necessary for the formation of red blood cells.

Magnesium:
Assists in calcium and potassium uptake, transmission of nerve and muscle impulses, causing irritability and nervousness, help prevents depression, dizziness, muscle weakness and twitching, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and also aids in maintaining the body’s proper pH balance. calcification of soft tissue, may help prevent cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and certain forms of cancer, and it may reduce cholesterol levels.

Sodium:
Maintaining proper water balance and blood pH needed for stomach, nerve, and muscle function.

Potassium:
Prevent stroke, aids in proper muscle contraction, and works with sodium to control the body’s water balance maintaining stable blood pressure and in transmitting electrochemical impulses.

Inositol:
is usually considered part of the vitamin B complex. It is thought that, along with choline, inositol is necessary for the formation of lecithin within the body.

Tactical Orange™ Energy Blend Ingredients

Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract
This herbal extract supports the body's natural ability to promote healthy mental function, inhance energy production and maintain healthy circulation function. Enhances the metabolism of glucose & the utilization of oxygen in your brain cells & has neuroprotective properties under conditions of decreased blood flow.

Panax Ginseng Root Extract
Studies have reported that ginseng can modestly improve thinking or learning. Mental performance has been assessed using standardized measurements of reaction time, concentration, learning, calculation, and logic. Effects have also been reported for the combination use of ginseng with Ginkgo biloba .

L-Carnitine
L-carnitine occurs naturally in most animal products. Generally, only very small amounts of it are found in plants, with few exceptions, such as avocado and some fermented soy products. Supplemental L-carnitine has positive results on cardioprotective activity in addition to beneficially affecting cardiac function. L-carnitine may also provide antioxidant properties.

Tyrosine
An amino acid that transmits nerve impulses to the brain, elevates mood, improves memory and increases mental alertness. It’s present in meat, dairy, fish and grains.

Phenylalanine
An essential amino acid that elevates the mood enhances memory, alertness and learning and suppresses the appetite. It’s found in dairy products, avocados, legumes, nuts, leafy vegetables, whole grains, poultry and fish. Click here to read more about phenylalanine.

Taurine
A naturally occurring chemical substance present in meat, fish and dairy products. Vitamin B6 is required by the body to synthesize Taurine from other nutrients. Adult humans have high concentrations of Taurine in white blood cells, skeletal muscles, the heart and central nervous system. It plays a role in digestion, and is used to process potassium, calcium and sodium in the body, as well as maintain the integrity of cell membranes. There is also evidence that Taurine reduces blood pressure. Scientists have investigated Taurine for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, macular degeneration, Alzheimer’s disease, alcoholism and cystic fibrosis.

Glucuronolactone
A natural metabolite found in the human body. It is produced by the destabilization of glucose in the liver, and has been clinically shown to reduce sleepiness and sleep-related traffic accidents. It is widely known to improve mental performance, reaction time, concentration and memory. It also acts as an antidepressant and stimulant.
